The Knot Stool is a contemporary aluminium design stool that challenges traditional furniture construction. Instead of relying on glue, screws, or bolts, its structure is held together entirely by ropes and knots, creating both visual tension and architectural balance.
Each piece is hand-assembled in aluminium, an enduring and versatile material chosen to highlight the innovative assembly technique. The strong contrast between the rigid metal and the flexible rope draws attention to the rope’s structural and aesthetic role, making it the defining element of the design.
