RUIMTE offers carefully selected interior objects, lighting, textiles and design pieces, including both ready-to-ship and made-to-order products. Delivery arrangements depend on the type of product you purchase.

Made-to-Order Products

Direct Shipping from the Producer

Made-to-order products are manufactured, packed and dispatched directly by the respective designer or producer. These products are shipped directly from the producer’s premises to the delivery address provided by the customer and do not pass through RUIMTE’s premises in Belgium.

RUIMTE does not physically receive, store, unpack or repackage these made-to-order products before delivery. The producer is responsible for the preparation and packaging of the product and for handing the packaged product to the carrier for direct delivery to the customer.

Depending on the product and the applicable supply-chain and regulatory requirements, the producer may fulfil certain obligations relating to the packaging and shipment of the product in the country of delivery.

Where applicable, RUIMTE works with independent designers and producers who fulfil orders directly to customers on RUIMTE’s behalf.

Delivery times for made-to-order products may vary depending on the producer and the production schedule. The estimated production and delivery time is indicated on the individual product page where applicable.

Delivery from the Producer

The shipping origin shown by the carrier may therefore differ from Belgium. The parcel may bear the producer’s name, branding or other information identifying the manufacturer or shipping party.

The customer’s purchase contract and invoice remain with RUIMTE, unless otherwise expressly stated.

If you order products from different producers, your order may be shipped in separate parcels and may arrive at different times.

Ready-to-Ship Products

Shipping from Belgium

Items that are in stock and ready to ship are dispatched directly from Belgium.

These products are also available for pickup in Belgium, subject to prior arrangement. Pickup is not available for made-to-order products.

Delivery Information

Tracking & Delivery

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive the available shipping and tracking information by email. For products shipped directly by a producer, the parcel may be handed over to the carrier by the producer on behalf of RUIMTE. 

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by production schedules, carrier delays, public holidays or circumstances outside of RUIMTE’s reasonable control.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that made-to-order products may be produced and shipped directly by the respective producer and that such products are not available for pickup from RUIMTE.

Please note that shipping availability may be temporarily affected by changes and implementation of new European packaging during transition period until autumn 2026.
