About RUIMTE – Curated Design with a Story
RUIMTE is a curated interior concept born from my deep passion for uncommon design, artistic expression, and meaningful storytelling. I offer a thoughtfully selected collection of furniture, lighting, art, ceramics, and homeware — each piece handpicked from designers and studios who combine craftsmanship with cultural depth.
Uncommon design, artistic expression, and meaningful storytelling
I focus on working with brands and designers that are still under the radar in Belgium, but already recognized in the international interior design world — featured in leading publications like Architectural Digest, Elle Decoration, Vogue Living, and Milk Decoration. Many of the artists I represent have had their work exhibited in national museums and galleries, including the Design Museum Brussels, the National Museum in Krakow, and institutions across Europe.

For most of these brands, RUIMTE is the exclusive reseller in Belgium — a role I take on with great care. To me, it’s about partnership and trust — making sure their stories are shared with the right context, to the right audience, and in a way that honors the work behind every piece.
Every item in the collection carries more than just form or function — it carries a story. I work only with designers whose values align with mine: those who prioritize craft, authenticity, and creative intention. Whether it’s a sculptural ceramic vase, a modular lamp system, or handwoven textiles, each piece is chosen not only for its aesthetic value, but also for its emotional and cultural resonance.

RUIMTE is more than just a shop. It’s a platform and a living showroom — a space where design becomes a dialogue. I love working with clients to explore what makes a space feel personal and powerful. I offer tailored styling advice, bespoke design solutions, and help people make choices that reflect who they truly are. My approach is intuitive, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that even one bold detail can transform a room.

I’m also proud to collaborate with museums and galleries, bridging the worlds of collectible design and everyday interiors. At the shop of Design Museum Brussels, RUIMTE presents a dedicated shelf showcasing a curated selection of the designers I represent — who are featured in the exhibition Looking Through Objects: Women in Contemporary Polish Design.

I created RUIMTE with a mission: to bring more extraordinary design into everyday life, and to celebrate the work of artists and designers whose stories deserve to be seen, shared, and lived with. I believe that it's not about having more - it's about having something that cannot be replicated.
