The Alma Throw was designed by Enikő Katalin Eged, a Budapest-based artist whose work draws on folklore, nature, and the bonds between humans and animals.

The design came from a recurring motif in her practice - a horse and a human portrait side by side - and was inspired by the relationship she was building with her new mare at the time. The result is a richly coloured night scene: a woman and her horse face to face beneath a dotted sky, with golden stars, a crescent moon, and folkloric florals in deep black, burnt orange, cobalt blue, and golden yellow.

Use it as a woven throw blanket on the bed or sofa, or display it on the wall as textile art, turning your interior into a living composition. Whether styled as a functional blanket or as a decorative wall piece, it brings warmth, texture and artistic presence to everyday spaces.

Each blanket in this series is created in collaboration with a different international artist, transforming original artworks into artist-designed textiles. Crafted in the USA from 100% cotton, including recycled yarn, this lightweight woven blanket balances sustainability, craftsmanship and contemporary design.
