The Kimbie throw was designed by Uruguayan-based artist Maitaimaifor Slowdown Studio. Originally founded in Los Angeles and now based in Sydney, Slowdown Studio is led by creative duo Jacob and Sarah-Jane Leung. The studio collaborates with international artists to translate original artworks into woven, functional design objects for everyday living.
