About Pani Jurek

Pani Jurek is a Polish design studio founded by Magda Jurek, whose practice moves fluidly between art, design, and spatial composition. Trained as a painter, Magda Jurek approaches objects through what she describes as visual thinking - a process rooted in intuition, proportion, and the relationships between forms in space.

Her work reflects a deep sensitivity to colour, material, and rhythm, translating artistic concepts into functional yet expressive objects for everyday environments.

The TRN Collection: From Signs to Objects

The TRN collection is inspired by the work of Polish artist Jan Tarasin, whose paintings explored the world of objects by gradually reducing them into abstract signs and ideograms. In the TRN collection, Pani Jurek reverses this process by transforming abstract symbols back into three-dimensional objects.

Each piece is conceived as part of a visual language: sculptural forms that resemble calligraphic gestures or letters from an imaginary alphabet. When placed together, the objects interact like a composition; when standing alone, they function as strong, independent accent pieces.
