Sometimes even thinking about a renovation can feel overwhelming. With so many options out there, it’s not always easy to decide what truly fits us. These are long-term decisions — they carry weight, and they can feel risky.

There are moments when we know exactly the direction we want to go in and just need a little nudge or guidance. Other times, we’re searching for fresh perspective — a new set of eyes that can help us uncover something we’ve been sensing but couldn’t quite articulate. The Power of Collaboration

Design is most magical when it’s collaborative. Some of my favorite outcomes have come from that creative back-and-forth with clients.

One client came looking for a hallway lamp — but after a thoughtful conversation, we realized it was too special to hide. We ended up placing it above the kitchen island — a decision that brought warmth and energy to the space.  We played around with shapes and colors in the boutique and narrowed it down to a few favorites. Then we compared them on-site, and I put together a few quick visualizations to better grasp the overall look and dimensions.

Another wanted to refresh their kids room and dining area without diving into a full renovation. We started small with a mood board that laid out the direction. Bit by bit — starting with accent colors and key pieces — the space began to transform.

Even simple decisions can benefit from another set of eyes. A couple visited the boutique torn between two pieces of Mexican wall art.  We discussed it together at the boutique and decided the best way forward was to see them in their home. And once we did, it became instantly clear which one was the piece.
