What began as a single ceramic form developed into a broader family of vases, platters, bowls, mugs and home accessories.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eToday, Malwina’s work is represented in museum collections and continues to move between different media. Her distinctive visual language is built around \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eform, rhythm and colour\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e, with a particular ability to bring an artistic quality to everyday objects.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eHer work has always felt very natural to RUIMTE: objects that don’t ask you to choose between art and function, but exist somewhere beautifully in between.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eVOYAGE: Malwina Konopacka rugs and kilims\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThe \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eVOYAGE collection of rugs and kilims\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e, designed by Malwina Konopacka for Carpets \u0026amp; More, brings the visual language of her ceramic work onto the floor and, in some designs, onto the wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThe collection consists of \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003e11 lines of rugs and kilims\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e, woven from \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003e100% New Zealand wool\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e. The patterns draw directly from Malwina’s iconic OKO ceramic family, translating the characteristic forms and motifs of her vessels onto a flat woven surface.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThe result is a collection of contemporary designer rugs that feel expressive without becoming overwhelming — pieces that can quietly shape a room or become its bold focal point.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eA journey through form, colour and place\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThe name VOYAGE reflects the idea of a journey, both through Malwina’s artistic language and through places that have personal meaning within the OKO family.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eROMA, MARSEILLE, PARIS, RIO and FLORENCE\u003c\/b\u003e take their patterns directly from the ceramic collection, while \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eBERLIN and WARSAW\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e are inspired by spaces shaped through personal interpretation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eLONDON\u003c\/b\u003e recalls Malwina’s memorable walks, while \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eTOKYO and OSLO\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e explore different faces of urban life. \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eGDYNIA\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e nods to modernism.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThe collection is held together by a restrained colour palette, while the expressive patterns leave room for interpretation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eRugs that can become art\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eWhat makes these pieces particularly interesting to me is their versatility.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThey can function as rugs, bringing warmth, texture and pattern into an interior, but some designs can also be \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003ehung on the wall\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e. This changes the way you can look at them: not simply as something that finishes a room, but as something that can become part of its visual identity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eIt is another example of what I love about Malwina’s work — the space between the functional and the artistic is never fixed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eRugs by Malwina Konopacka at RUIMTE\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eFor a long time, I’ve been searching for rugs to add to the RUIMTE collection. But I didn’t want to add just any rug. I was looking for pieces that \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eexpress something\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e, that bring character and a point of view into an interior, while at the same time offering the quality of beautiful materials and craftsmanship.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eWhen I discovered the VOYAGE collection, it immediately felt right.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eI’m a huge fan of Malwina’s work and her ceramics have already been part of RUIMTE.
